Nine Trailer: Oscar-Winner Glee Club Infiltrated by Fergie

  • 5/14/09 at 12:45 PM

The Weinstein Company has just released the flashy first trailer for its future Best Picture winner, Rob Marshall's Nine, based on the musical, starring every person who's touched an Oscar statue since 1960. Daniel Day-Lewis stars as director Guido Contini, battling a midlife crisis, struggling to complete a film, and running afoul of the various women in his life: Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench, Penélope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Sophia Loren... and the female star of the Black Eyed Peas. Fergie aside, we can't wait to see the movie, its inevitably hilarious awards campaign, and, most of all, Daniel Day-Lewis speaking with an Italian accent (which we hope is in the next trailer).
