Video Games More Popular Than Movies

According to the NPD Group, the research firm in charge of proving that everything is doomed, more Americans played video games (63 percent) in the past six months than went to movie theaters (53 percent). Before the gaming industry gets cocky, though, they should be aware that 94 percent of U.S. consumers enjoyed music over the same period, proving that popularity has nothing to do with money.
