Week in Review: No Boundaries

As you read this, you're only a few short hours away from a three-day weekend. Good thing, since you'll probably need it to recover from this week's entertainment news. What happened? To recap: Charlotte Gainsbourg did something not very nice to Willem Dafoe's doodle (which Lars Von Trier vigorously defended). SNL took us to Vietnam and back. Don Pardo called it quits. Juliet lives! Maybe! Ben Silverman declared war on repeats. We ordered takeout with Meth and Redman. Kara DioGuardi suffered a wardrobe malfunction, as well as a songwriting malfunction. We watched the American Idol finale and the wrong guy won (which is okay). Even so, we stopped believing. America dodged a Jay Leno–shaped bullet. And the Jonas Brothers hit the Hamptons. Have a great Memorial Day, readers — we'll see you on Tuesday.
