After 648 performances and three Violet Westins, the Tony- and Pulitzer-winning August: Osage County will drop its final curtain on June 28. A movie version is in the works and a national tour starts in July, with Estelle Parsons heroically tackling the stairs again as Violet. [ArtsBeat/NYT]
