Despite Twentieth TV's efforts to find a new home for My Name Is Earl on TBS following its cancellation by NBC, the studio was unable to reach a deal, and the show is now canceled forever. Says a statement: "While we had hoped to find a way to produce additional episodes for TBS, in the final analysis we simply could not make the economics work without seriously undermining the artistic integrity of the series."
