Michael Moore Advertises New Movie, Blocks Theater Aisles
If you were lucky enough to be in one of a handful of multiplexes this weekend, you saw this teaser for Michael Moore's upcoming, still-untitled economic-meltdown documentary, in which Moore asked for donations for America's beleaguered corporate executives, then actually sent "volunteers" out into the theater aisles to solicit contributions (the Washington Times has a photo). Clever idea, we guess, but we hope interactive trailers never catch on (we'd much prefer a clear path to the concessions stand and bathrooms during those crucial pre-movie minutes). Anyway, if this captures the general tone of the film, then count us in — we love getting indignant over things!
