Neil Patrick Harris Heroically Closes Tonys

  • 6/8/09 at 11:15 AM

In case you missed it (and let's be honest — you missed it), Tonys host Neil Patrick Harris's closing number last night was topped only by the show's opening, during which Bret Michaels was tragically decapitated. Armed with lyrics by Hairspray team Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, NPH capably proved himself the mini-Jackman we all knew he could be, poking fun at the ceremony and the winners and lucidly explaining how one actually goes about winning a Golden Globe. HJ has the Oscars on lock, but can somebody get this guy to host the Emmys? Click for video.
