While the major American broadcast-TV networks seem content to fill their schedules with nothing but procedurals and talk shows, there's a considerably brighter outlook for fresh ideas across the pond. Last week we learned that Kristen Schaal got a pilot for Penelope, Princess of Pets greenlit for Channel 4, and now comes word they have also picked up a pilot from Spike Jonze and David Cross.
