True Blood Scares Up Big Ratings for HBO

If you notice any big gusts of wind emanating around Bryant Park this afternoon, you can probably chalk it up to HBO executives breathing a huge sigh of relief. Roughly 3.7 million people tuned in to the season-two premiere of True Blood on Sunday night, making it the most-watched program on the network since the series finale of The Sopranos back in June 2007.
