An Education Trailer Plants the Seeds for Your Upcoming Crush on Carey Mulligan

An Education premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival and immediately leaped into the conversation as one of the front-runners for this year's Oscar race. The film, which was directed by celebrated Danish filmmaker Lone Scherfig from a script by Nick Hornby, is a coming-of-age story set in early-sixties-era London. It revolves around the blossoming, slightly untoward relationship between "critically acknowledged actor" Peter "SARS Guards" Sarsgaard and virtual newcomer Carey Mulligan, the latter of whom has quickly achieved darling-ingenue status in film circles (or, more accurately, has become a bonafide crush object of many male film critics). So is Mulligan really the next Amy Adams? While all signs seem to be pointing to yes, you'll have to wait for the film to open on October 9 to decide for yourselves.
