Blogger Who Leaked Chinese Democracy Sentenced to Two Months of Home Confinement

Which would be a much better punishment if we believed that Kevin Cogill, the blogger in question, ever left his home anyway. He'll also serve a year's worth of probation and record a public-service announcement for the Recording Industry, which sounds hilarious. Though prosecutors pushed for incarceration, U.S. District Magistrate Judge Paul L. Abrams says he does not believe Cogill will repeat his mistake. And neither do we, since it'll be at least a thousand years before Axl finishes another album. [AP]
