A new promo for this week's 90210 makes the show seem almost watchable, if only to giggle at the ripped-from-the-headlines plot of "To Sext or Not to Sext." This after-school-special episode is probably to today's kids what Scott Scanlon's gun-and-country-music-fueled accidental suicide was in 1991: totally ridiculous. (Maybe the gang will bury a time capsule in honor of Annie's lost digital-nudity virginity.) Even if this turns out, as it probably will, to all be a crazy mix-up, it's still about sexting. And sexting is still always funny.
