Freemasons Not at All Peeved by Dan Brown’s Latest Novel

Has megaselling author Dan Brown lost his power to shock and awe? First, the official newspaper of the Vatican declared the movie version of Angels & Demons to be "more than two hours of harmless entertainment, which hardly affects the genius and mystery of Christianity." And now, a senior representative of the Freemasons has called Dan Brown's latest, The Lost Symbol, the work of a "terrific novelist" that contains "nothing ... that will offend my organization." This just reinforces our belief that Brown should've focused on the Stonecutters instead. [Reuters]
