Owing to her ongoing treatment for breast cancer, Maura Tierney has been forced to leave NBC's upcoming dramedy Parenthood (the show's premiere was pushed back to mid-season from fall following her diagnosis this summer). The network says she's expected to be okay, but her medical care will conflict with Parenthood's production schedule and require her role to be recast. We wish her a complete and speedy recovery.
