Wild Horses Couldn’t Drag Susan Boyle Away (Even If You Wish They Would)

Wild Horses Couldn’t Drag Susan Boyle Away (Even If You Wish They Would)

Are you ready for another Susan Boyle comeback? No? Too bad, because it is on! Last night, the Hairy Angel appeared on the finale of NBC's well-rated but largely buzzless reality competition America's Got Talent. As we learned during a recent ratings grab by the Peacock, Boyle is hard at work in the recording studio putting together a collection of M.O.R. cover songs for Simon Cowell. So it's no surprise, really, that Boyle decided to belt out a version of "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones, a song that has already been covered by everyone from the Dave Matthews Band to Guns N' Roses to the Sundays. Boyle's version was pleasant enough, we suppose, but we really would've rather seen her break out her best Mick Jagger imitation and strut her stuff around the stage singing "Brown Sugar."
