Bon Jovi Takes Up Residence at NBC

Over the next two months, NBC and Jon Bon Jovi are going to get close. Very, very close. Jersey's second-favorite son will promote his newest album, The Circle, with a stint as the network's first-ever "artist in residence." That means appearances on the Today show, The Tonight Show, The Jay Leno Show, SNL, NBC Nightly News, and, most importantly, Inside the Actors Studio, all without making any appearances on other networks. Mr. Bon Jovi (as the Times hilariously calls him) conceived of the idea himself, but we're hoping NBC hangs on to the concept. Who better to serve as the next "artist in residence" than a guy dropping three albums in one month? [NYT]
