Public Enemy’s Fund-raising Efforts Are Going Swimmingly

A few weeks ago, we wondered aloud whether there were 10,000 fans willing to shell out $25 apiece to help fund the production of Public Enemy's new record. While we still don't have a final answer to that question, it turns out the band is making some solid headway toward their goal of raising $250,000. In the last few weeks alone, the band has raised $50,000. So, you can sleep tight knowing that Flavor Flav will at least have some spare change he can spend on replenishing his collection of oversize clock necklaces (clocklaces?). [Music Mix/EW]
