Barnes & Noble is being sued by a company called Spring Design that alleges they stole the design for their gorgeous new e-reader, the Nook. Spring Design says they'd actually been working with B&N on a joint project and were taken by surprise at the Nook's unveiling two weeks ago, because it purportedly incorporates features of an e-reader that SD had been working on, the Alex. This in no way interferes with our wanting one. [Gizmodo]
