Is anyone brave enough to follow Jackman? Vulture buddy Nikki Finke reports that Tropic Thunder co-stars Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. have turned down an offer to host the Oscars as a pair. They'd have been decent-enough emcees, we suppose, but if this is the direction producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic want to go, we're a little nervous about who might be asked next. (Please don't let it be Jim Carrey and Jack Black.) If they're just looking for someone to do it in blackface, perhaps John Slattery is available?
