Here's an out-of-the-box idea: Barrie Osborne, producer of the Matrix and Lord of the Rings trilogies, is working on a biopic on Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, for which he's seeking a $150 million budget. If all goes as planned (and why wouldn't it!?), the film — the goal of which, says Osborne, would be to "bridge cultures" and "educate people about the true meaning of Islam" — would begin shooting in 2011 with an English-speaking Muslim cast and all aspects of the production overseen by the completely insane Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi. Best of all is that the movie would follow Muhammad's life from birth till death ("It will highlight the humanity of Prophet Muhammad," says an Alnoor chairman) while not actually showing him onscreen since Islamic Law prohibits such things. Sounds great!
