When we read that The Daily Show correspondent John Oliver landed his own Comedy Central show, we rejoiced. Who doesn't love the dry-humored, shaggy-headed Brit? But our joy, as is typical, was soon replaced by disappointment when we read what the show will look like — an hour of stand up, by Oliver's favorite comedians. Sure, it'll probably be funny, but it won't be as good as all Oliver, all the time. If only he were a ventriloquist! [The Live Feed]
