R.I.P. Ken Ober, 1957–2009
The comedy community is mourning a friend: Ken Ober, the comedian and game-show host best known for Remote Control, apparently died of a heart attack yesterday at the age of 52. Most recently, Ober was a producer on the CBS show The New Adventures of Old Christine. For some, he's probably best remembered for starring in Blues Traveler videos at the height of their fame, most notably the clip for one of the band's most famous songs, "Hook."
