What a roller-coaster weekend for lovers of British comedy! First, Stephen Fry threatened to quit Twitter, where he has nearly a million followers (ourselves included), because some random called @brumplum called Fry's tweets "boring." Then, Fry's threat made national news in the U.K. and this brumplum guy got bombarded by angry tweets from Fry's fans. Then the two Twitter users made up, Fry took back his threat, and he urged everyone to move on with their lives. But we're not, quite yet, because the whole thing is just too ridiculous. Gordon Brown should invite the two men to have a pint at 10 Downing Street. Which has its own Twitter! What a world.
