Hitler Mad About Hitler Being Yanked Off YouTube

Downfall director Oliver Hirschbiegel might dig that his film has provided us all with one of the Internet’s most consistently funny memes — Hitler getting very upset — but Constantin Films, the outfit that owns the rights to the movie, isn’t quite as pleased. The German production company has filed a copyright claim that has already resulted in “Hitler gets banned from Xbox live,” “Hitler wants to make a meme,” and “Hitler wants to know who lost the 4G iPhone” being taken off of YouTube. Constantin will have a hard time scrubbing the Internet of the hundreds of variations of this meme that exist — and they’ll probably be making Hitler a whole lot angrier in the process.
