Deadline is reporting that the original Law & Order, a series that has been on the air for longer than Justin Bieber has been alive, will be canceled after this year, its twentieth season. This means, among other things, like less Sam Waterston, that it will not surpass Gunsmoke as the longest-running drama series of all time. The show currently stars Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson, and Linus Roache, has featured S. Epatha Merkerson for 391 episodes, Waterston for 368, and with a grand total of 453 episodes, is expected to air, in reruns, for the rest of time. [Deadline]
