Attention, Gleeks: Attend a Glee Tour show this month, and you’ll officially get a double dose of Harry Shum Jr., the human elastic band who plays Mike Chang, a.k.a. “Other Asian.” In addition to performing with the Glee cast, Shum just announced via his Twitter and YouTube that his dance collective, the LXD (that’s short for Legion of Extraordinary Dancers), will be opening for a show on the road (tour dates are May 15–30). It’s the next step in an increasingly growing presence for the LXD; founded by Step Up 2: The Streets director Jon M. Chu, with Shum and Christopher Scott as lead choreographers, the group recently performed at the Oscars and on So You Think You Can Dance After seeing Shum dance-battle Matthew Morrison on Oprah and lend interpretive dance skills to Lea Michele’s performance of “Gives You Hell,” we can only imagine the possibilities.
