Here it is, your first look/listen at/to the opening titles for CBS’s recently picked-up Hawaii Five-O remake. We’d love to be able to tell you that our least favorite part of this is the silly, as-seen-through-the-eyes-of-the-Terminator satellite graphics, but alas — what in God’s name have they done to the theme song? The new version loses the backbeat, trades horns for Limp Bizkit-y guitars, and sounds a little like a couple studio musicians mistakenly thought they’d been hired to update the Mission Impossible theme. Also, where the hell is the vibraslap? Click through for both versions.
