At Cinema Society and Urban Zen Foundation’s screening of Showtime’s The Big C, held at Donna Karan’s East Hampton home last week, we overheard Sarah Jessica Parker talking about her husband Matthew Broderick’s Ping-Pong skills, so we asked him about his prowess with the paddle. He got kind of defensive: “I used to play a lot. Now I know it has become fashionable, but I was way ahead of that curve. I was playing Ping-Pong when it wasn’t, ‘Everybody’s playing Ping-Pong.’ Now everybody’s going nuts over it.
