Bright and Early: Lizzy Caplan has signed on to guest star in Mr. Sunshine, the new ABC sitcom starring Matthew Perry and Alison Janney. Perry plays a “the sports arena manager for the Sunshine Center, a second-tier arena in San Diego,” and Janney plays his boss. Caplan will play Janney’s assistant, biding her time as she develops an HBO comedy with Adam McKay and Will Ferrell. [Deadline]
