First Bun B, now this: NYU’s Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music has named Swizz Beatz its first Producer in Residence for the 2010–2011 academic year. Begging immediately, Swizz will assist in the process of “teaching students the skills of creative entrepreneurship for the music industry … through a variety of portals, including one-on-one sessions, group lectures, songwriting critiques, and mentoring.” Awesome!
