Granted, that Glee performance is worth watching on repeat, but a whole tour? “[Co-star Tim McGraw] keeps joking that I should go on the road as his opening act,” Paltrow said at last night’s Country Strong premiere. “And I keep saying, ‘Let’s do it. Let’s make it happen.’ I don’t know about a whole tour but a string of nights could be fun,” Plus, “I will probably do some more films that involve singing,” she added. One of those films might be Rock of Ages, Adam Shankman’s big-screen adaptation of the Broadway musical, and a Rock producer confirmed that Tom Cruise is indeed in discussions for the film’s male lead, adding: “It’s real.” So, is that enough to get Paltrow onboard? “I just got the [Rock of Ages] script and I will read it on the plane home tomorrow,” she said. That means Gwyneth Paltrow might be reading that script in the sky right now, while literally looking down on all of us. [Inside Movies/EW]
