Gasp! Lady-fronted pop-punk band Paramore announced yesterday that brothers Josh and Zac Farro are leaving the band, confirming rumors. In a blog post, Paramore wrote that the Farros had actually decided to leave the group a couple of months ago, and that the remaining three band members weren’t surprised by the decision. The Farro brothers — guitarist Josh and drummer Zac — founded Paramore with Hayley Williams in 2004. But the real surprise here is that rising star Williams — she of “Airplanes” fame — wasn’t the first to go. [MTV]
