Millions of young people dream of launching a music career. But Kim Kardashian, the famous reality-TV star recently turned recording artist, is not among them. “Basically, Ciara came to me and was like, ‘You’ve got to meet The-Dream,’” she explained. “I was not into doing a song. I thought, ‘Everyone kind of tries that, and it doesn’t really work out so well.’” Yeah, who doesn’t record an album or two, she wondered. But she was convinced: “I talked to Kanye and my musical friends. They asked me what I do for fun, and I said, ‘I go shopping, I hang out with friends.’ And they said, ‘We go to the studio for fun. Come have fun with us. Don’t think too much about it.’” It’s only a dream job! The whole process was filmed for Kourtney and Kim Take New York, incidentally. So far, “There’s no album,” she added, but maybe she’ll be forced to make one of those, too. [ONTD]
