The Week of Relevance continues for How I Met Your Mother: First the show had the streets talking with this crazy plot twist, and now they go and land the second biggest currently active pop star alive for a cameo. KP will pop up later this season as Jennifer Morrison’s character Zoey’s cousin, “a beautiful, naive girl who the gang resorts to calling ‘honey,’” and she’s a “potential love interest” for Ted. Our take: This makes it sound like Zoey might be the mother, actually, because if they’re planning on drawing things out this long before Ted and Zoey get together, the payoff has to be legit. Or Ted will date Perry after he romances and inevitably breaks up with Zoey? Either way: This is stunt casting done right. [HR via ONTD]
