Men in Black III Extends Shooting Hiatus

When Tommy Lee Jones told us last week that there are “vast pieces of the script yet unwritten” for Men in Black 3, he meant it. Despite the fact that the movie already began shooting in November (a month later than it was planned to, which the New York Post blamed on script clashes), and was shut down since Christmas to work out more story kinks, the LAT reports that the production halt has been extended. The film was originally supposed to resume shooting this week; now, it won’t pick back up again until March 28. A near-shutdown due to script issues almost gave director Barry Sonnenfeld a heart attack during the making of Men in Black II, so can someone check in and make sure he’s doing all right this time?
