Lady Gaga’s award show acceptance speech near-tears, on full display earlier tonight as she copped the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal album, are basically giving the surprised award-show faces of Taylor Swift a run for their money in the spectrum of arguably contrived things celebrities do at award shows, and her inspirational message was cribbed from the Justin Bieber movie. But Gaga still managed to pull out one gem while accepting the award: She thanked Whitney Houston for “Born This Way.” Really. See why!
