Looks like Will Arnett’s upcoming stay on The Office will be short-lived. As Splitsider suggested last week, the Arrested Development actor just signed on to Christina Applegate’s NBC pilot, where he’ll play Applegate’s stay-at-home husband (Maya Rudolph was recently added to the cast as well, so this is shaping up to be a pilot full of heavy hitters). Arnett was seen last week on 30 Rock and will next appear in The Office’s season finale; might this sitcom give him a permanent Thursday-night berth next to his wife, Parks and Recreation’s Amy Poehler?
