George R.R. Martin Clarifies His Issues With Lost

Previously, Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin told The New Yorker that he thought Lost had fumbled its ending, and Damon Lindelof was not happy. Now George R.R. Martin, who has not been following the kerfuffle closely, is clarifying: “No, I certainly don’t regret having watched Lost,” he tells TV Squad. But before you say “aw, peace in nerd-dom!” check Martin’s follow-though: “By the time we reached the finale, I was still hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I still think Lost told a terrific story … a terrific story with a terrible ending.” Zing! [TV Squad]
