The New York Times reports today that the Kanye West Foundation, a charity founded four years ago to battle high-school dropout rates (get it?!!), has shut down. The Times also makes the charity sound shady, pointing out that from 2007 to 2009, it took in an average of $492,000 and then handed out grants in total averaging only $18,080. Surely there’s a logical explanation for this, ‘Ye? [NYT]
