The Duplass Brothers Will Get Revenge on Pitchfork

Attention, indie rockers: If you’ve ever had your band dissed by the influential music site Pitchfork, directors Mark and Jay Duplass feel your pain. The brothers, whose last movie was the John C. Reilly–Jonah Hill comedy Cyrus, are prepping the new thriller Pitchfork, about the mother of a dead musician who seeks revenge on the Pitchfork blogger who’d dissed her son, then finds that he’s just a teenager. The Duplasses are courting Susan Sarandon to play the mother and, potentially, their Cyrus star Jonah Hill to play the blogger; can we also suggest Pitchfork feuder Scott Kannberg from Pavement as a consultant?
