Modern Family has been hinting that the show would recast Jaden and Ella Hiller, the super-cute twins that play Lily, the world’s most stoic baby. Jesse Tyler Ferguson mentioned it on Inside the Actors Studio a few weeks ago, and Steven Levitan started floating the idea back in May, but it now seems to be the real deal. Producers have apparently issued a casting notice for an “Asian, 3- to 4-year-old daughter of Mitchell and Cameron.” Sigh. Lily’s adorable lack of interest in her surroundings made Cam and Mitchell’s high-octane parenting so much more hilarious. [E!]
