Don’t expect to see Christina Ricci or any of the other key characters from Pan Am smoking this season. Though the sixties-set show, seems to be hoping to cash in on some Mad Men goodwill, onscreen smoking is one area in which the two shows will differ dramatically. “It’s understandable,” executive producer Tommy Schlamme told Entertainment Weekly in regards to ABC’s decision to not portray the show’s stars puffing away. “It’s an enormous impressionable element.
