The lovingly anticipated Party Down reunion (sans Adam Scott) aired on last night’s Childrens Hospital — in the last 37 seconds of the episode. Think cameo. If the rest of the episode hadn’t been so funny, the lack of Ron Donald Dos and Don’ts would have been devastating, but as it was, it was merely a letdown of our own making, borne from the still-present yen for more Roman DeBeers and eternal soft spot for Lizzy Caplan. As promised, the episode centered on Ken Marino’s bar mitzvah, complete with David Wain as an undercover slutty rabbi, which is maybe not the most promising description of an episode of TV. But trust: Childrens Hospital is wonderful. (Next week: Spinoffs!)
