Woody Allen’s biggest recent successes have all been set abroad (Midnight in Paris, Match Point, Vicky Cristina Barcelona), so why shouldn’t he keep his European tour going a little while longer? THR reports that after Allen finishes his current movie, the Rome-set comedy The Bop Decameron, he plans to head to Germany for his next production, which is budgeted at $30 million. (As is often the case with Allen, the plot is being kept under wraps.) Cinema’s most famously neurotic Jew is making a film in Germany? We hope he’ll be able to find some material somewhere. [THR]
