Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis will lend their aging bodies to The Expendables 2, which will be Schwarzenegger’s second post-scandal role, after Last Stand, and Willis’s third consecutive action sequel, along with Die Hard 5 and the follow-up to Red. Both Schwarzenegger and Willis had cameos in the original Expendables — is it fair to call it “original” when it’s basically a mash-up of other action movies? — but their roles in the sequel are “substantial,” according to Deadline. Sylvester Stallone said last year that his plan for the sequel was to do “something that’s quite radical,” and so far he’s radically lined up Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, and Terry Crews to reprise their roles.
