With his lack of nickname and law school plans, Vinny has always come off as the most serious member of the Jersey Shore cast. When he told Vulture last year that he was shifting his focus to acting, he made good on the promise with a spot on MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger. Now he’s managed to get some work on a whole other network, landing a gig on the CW’s 90210. According to EW, the thinking man’s guido will play “a young and gregarious celebrity who enjoys the fruits of fame” in an episode set to air in November. The part actually sounds like something of an acting challenge, considering his behavior this summer. [Inside TV/EW]
