It’s almost like Stephen King knows how to scare the living crap out of people. This teaser for the upcoming A&E mini-series adaptation of Bag of Bones features an always-terrifying whispery little girl with some kind of water-logged terror-limp. BoB stars Pierce Brosnan as a grieving widower with writer’s block who moves to a small town in Maine to experience the true horrors only New England can provide and also to confront the town’s dark past — and perhaps his own demons! “His demons” here meaning the zombie ghost of his deceased wife (Annabeth Gish). If you think that little girl’s neck breaking is scary, try listening to Pierce Brosnan say “bag of bones” a bunch of times in this behind-the-scenes promo. Chills.
