Ten Things We Liked on Thursday

  • 1. Everything at Vera Wang, especially look No. 11, a cropped, black kimono jacket over a sheer, white ruffled top and skinny "steel" trousers. We also love her bravery, showing just hours after the death of her beloved father.

  • 2.A short white dress at Badgley Mischka, covered in the always-popular-this-season embellishment and embroidery.

  • 3.Kate Spade's clear plastic tote bag designed in collaboration with Hugo Guinness. Chic, and legal to carry on!



  • 4.The ever-creative Andy Spade, meanwhile, has collaborated with art director Anthony Sperduti on a collection of quirky and sometimes funny photography books. Our favorite: Medical Professionals Smoking.

  • 5.The Hollywood Squares set at Catherine Malandrino's show.

  • 6.Vena Cava's beautiful, romantic silk-charmeuse gown in cream with a navy-print capelet.

  • 7. Zac Posen's A-line mini-dress with gorgeous rosettes on the hem.

  • 8. The sunglasses handed out at Calvin Klein — they actually flatter both of us!

  • 9.The Tory Burch-provided bicycle rickshaw that brought us from Calvin Klein's show to hers. Our driver was Czech and spoke French — and we're in love.

  • 10.And once we got there, the gardens at Rockefeller Center were lovely, and the presentation was just like the clothes: chic and simple.
