Yigal Azrouël
Yigal's seamless mixing of precious pieces with ultracasual items resulted in a collection that's in sync with a modern woman's needs. I loved the matte gold-sequin pencil skirt mixed with a well-worn T-shirt, and his chic long jersey dresses detailed with braided leather or jute straps. He also sent down a to-be-coveted linen cloche hat in an array of perfect spring colors: marigold, mango, mustard, and grass green.

Josh Goot
Nothing is more exciting than seeing a young designer stretch beyond his comfort zone. Josh showed his great signature body-conscious scuba dresses, which looked terrific, but he also debuted new silhouettes that were looser and more fluid. His standout pieces were either color-blocked or printed. The water-print tank in black and white, the color-blocked long-sleeved chemise, and his finale, a multicolored tiered jersey dress, were all perfect for spring.

L.A.M.B.
Gwen Stefani knows her girl, has a strong vision, and knows how to put on a great show. She took some of the influences we saw during the fall collections and made them all her own. Her spring show is chock-full of great items: the new spring suit—a prep-school blazer worn with shorts, mod little dresses, black and white graphic prints — beautiful lace blouses, sequin tops, bold oversize leopard prints, and the perfect one-shoulder Grecian white-and-black-trim jersey dress.
