With our cameras in tow, fashion correspondent Fabiola Beracasa hit the Thakoon show and found several of the designer’s fans. Filmmaker Liz Goldwyn told of one Thakoon dress she has taken around the world. Mary Alice Stephenson, former fashion director of Harper’s Bazaar, gleefully recalled being Thakoon’s boss before the fashion assistant grew up to be a designer.
